Left Bank
Left Bank is a lighting design for a science and technology park on the Maozhou River in Shenzhen. The scheme combines functional lighting with landscape lighting. Anti-glare buried lamps on the ground floor illuminate the pillars and the ceiling, so the walkway receives soft reflected light. Linear lamps of 3000K are embedded in the handrails of the sky corridor bridge. These linear lamps light the walking surface and keep the night landscape continuous. Lighting scenes for weekdays, weekends and festivals balance visual effect and energy use.
Left Bank Park by Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd was identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Left Bank Park received the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2021. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that rewards exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
