Bow
A lamp made of bent natural ash wood. Its shape seems to be a simple wooden bow, but it conceals an LED light rail that only becomes visible when the integrated touch switch is pressed. Thanks to an equally invisible magnet, it adheres beautifully to any iron surface or dedicated support, but can also, according to the modular principle, be transformed into a multi-part floor or pendant luminaire.
Bow Lamp by Davide Mezzasalma was selected as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bow Lamp received the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2022. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that honors exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
