Shining Glass
The table lamp is designed to use a faceted drinking glass as a lampshade without any modification. The lampshade holder has the unique semicircular arm structure connected to a jig that securely holds the bottom of the glass between the inside and the outside. Its holder and base are seamlessly made of faceted glass. And the outline of it is clearly projected from the bottom by a pedestal with a light ring. The favorite faceted drinking glass can be used as a part of the lamp which is realized with a harmonious structure of oneness to create lighting effect to enrich daily life.
Shining Glass Table Lamp by Keiji Ishikawa was identified as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Shining Glass Table Lamp received the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2022. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
