Get

Get Space is an architectural lighting design for a commercial complex in Huangpu Science City, Guangzhou, China. The scheme uses LED luminaires and narrow-beam spotlights with dynamic controls, so each zone receives illumination suited to its function. Embedded spotlights, linear accents and vertical lighting follow the stacked box facade. A colour temperature of 4000K is used for the exteriors and 3000K for pedestrian areas. Motion sensors and dimming reduce energy use by up to 30 percent during off-peak hours. Anti-glare shields limit light spill toward nearby homes.

The lamp is built from a 3D printed structure covered with deer leather, and the texture recalls the form of a living animal. The design honors the life of the deer and offers a calm presence.
