Matisse Blue Lamp

Matisse Blue

The Matisse Blue lamp is a lighting system based on the paper cut outs of Henri Matisse. Built with matte black metal and blue tyvek, the design has rounded shades that attach to a central stem. Internal led strips spread light through the material, combining shape and color into a functional object. The piece provides light through a simple structure, aiming to balance art heritage with modern materials.

Matisse Blue Lamp by Nataliya Naymark has been identified as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Matisse Blue Lamp received the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2026. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which recognizes superior design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
