Reverse Pickup

The Reverse Pickup Table Lamp by ADD features a perfect circle discus consisting of translucent marble. As the discus rotates along the base it gradually lights up. The two bronze arcs were conceived so as to enclose the discus and accentuate the notion of movement and the play between light and shadow. Three different discuses made from different colored marbles were chosen to match the user's aesthetics and mood. As the mood changes, all the user needs to do is play his/her favorite discus. Globe design focuses also on flexibility thanks to the different combinations of internal and external finishes and to the adjustable lampshade and LED bar, that can both rotate to adapt to different needs.

Mi-480

Designed as a decorative light, the Mi-480 deals with the idea of a textured skin, creating layers of transparent, translucent and opaque patterns. The gradients of light and shade that result, give the surface a sense of visual depth which changes depending upon the viewing angle. 480 pieces of acrylic, varying in size are illuminated by a single light source, located in the centre. This further helps create the illusion of a richly textured skin. Carefully placed gaps in the skin allow for rays of light to escape through, creating their own patterns onto the surroundings.
