Léon

Léon means to engage the user in a lighting experience, leaving behind traditional archetypes of home lighting and with this the physical switch. Employing two proximity sensors controlling hue and brightness, the user lifts and lowers their hands over these sensors to determine the lighting effect. As light is intangible, it is apt that the switch should be too. Through a more poetic interaction with light, Lewis believes the user will find a renewed sensitivity to the lighting atmospheres they create.

Colour Injector

Colour injector is an interactive multicoloured lamp designed as a physical expression of the way red, green and blue light are used in digital interfaces to create a full spectrum of different hues. The lamp represents an idea of 'in-n-out' system where an unusual analogue input is connected to a digital output in order to make some fun and provoke people into the emotional response. Syringes suspended below the lamp are connected to another set inside the body. The handles of the syringes are attached to sliding switches connected to Arduino that controls the colour output of light diodes.

Light of CHAO

CHAO is a boutique-style hotel located in the bustling Sanlitun. The design inspiration for the 180 rooms and five kinds of room types is from the "Nest" of animals. Its design uses a multi-level, diversified space strategy, through the use of different materials, colors and elements to present the historical charm and vitality of times. The transformation of CHAO hotel has become the model of hotel renovation.

Halo Pendants

Originally inspired as a graphically interpretation of effervescence. Halo is series of bold lamps inspired by the soft warm glow their illuminaire. This modular system allow the pendants to be suspended in a multitude of compositions as a range of elegant hanging art pieces. Machined and hand finished, they are available brass, copper, nickel and 24 karat gold.

Pascal’s working process is one of constant experiments with techniques and materials, completed when his products display his envisioned aesthetic effect and practicality and durability. Delight infuses his design process, which produces works that draw in the viewer, often with an irresistible urge to touch the objects. His objects express boldness, freedom and creative originality. Pascal overcomes the frustrations of complex design processes through experimentation to produce original and practical domestic objects that depict and engender happiness in a way that is complex and profound.

Fireworks

Fireworks is designed to provide an alternative take on the classic steakhouse. This intriguing restaurant and bar concept take visitors into a surreal universe celebrating the fire as source of warmth, protection and good grilled food. The entire space is a complete kinetic art installation where wall bricks glow like embers, smoke comes from the kitchen area, and every 30 minutes lighting strikes appear pulsing from the bar counter and from within cracks in the ceiling. This is a place high in symbolism, aesthetic drama, sensory stimulation and taste sensations: fireworks for the senses.
