The Heart Of Siberia
The Heart of Siberia is a permanent light and sound show in the center of Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The show links a 540 meter pedestrian bridge, a museum center and a concert hall into one dynamic lighting system. The system uses more than 15,000 controlled pixels, 2,000 linear lamps and two LED media facades, managed by custom automation cabinets. Scenarios start automatically on a schedule and can also be changed remotely. Nine chapters use color to recall the Yenisei river, the taiga and other regional symbols. The installation withstands temperatures down to minus 40 degrees Celsius.
The Heart Of Siberia Urban Lighting Show by Pitch Bureau has been recognized as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. The Heart Of Siberia Urban Lighting Show was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2020. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
