Kalky Ragged Pendant lamp

Kalky Ragged

Kalky Ragged is a pendant lamp with a shade made from tracing paper. The shade is produced with a self-developed technology that combines manual dyeing, impregnation, sewing and riveting. Acorn Light System Lamps

Acorn Light System

Acorn is a lighting system of sustainable lamps that takes advantage of daylight. Each shade is covered with a mirror on its back side. During the night they can reflect a single ceiling-mounted light source and amplify its strength for another sustainable approach or function as regular lamps. The system consists of wall-mounted, ceiling, freestanding, and table-top lamps. Each can be modified by combining the different shapes of shades.

The washi is folded and twisted into pleats to form a large curved surface. Thin acrylic plates hold the paper in place, so no visible frame is needed and the paper appears to float. The gap between the paper and the wall also serves as heat dissipation space for the three bulbs, which can be replaced easily. The soft light suits entrances, lobbies and bedrooms.
